Kickboxing at Trinity Fitness

Trinity Fitness is a gym for women who are determined to improve their health and way of life. Dedicated to empowering women through fitness and a positive attitude, Nathan Nowak has developed an intense and challenging kickboxing class structure unlike any other in Atlanta. All Trinity kickboxers, regardless of their level of expertise, are pushed to new levels of physical fitness using specific elements from martial arts, boxing, and aerobic exercise.
There are a wide variety of martial art forms deriving from different Asian countries. The kicks used by Trinity are based on Taekwondo techniques used in today's Olympic style sparring, while the punches are taken from the sport of Boxing. Trinity's instructors are all members of Trinity's Taekwondo Team; each member is a National Champion and a Black Belt, assuring kickboxing members the best instruction. Trinity currently offers 14 kickboxing classes per week.

Beginner Kickboxers
Beginners will learn the basic stance, punches, kicks, and punch/kick combinations. Trinity kickboxing instructors emphasize proper form and technique, which are essential to developing maximum speed, power, and precision, as well as preventing injury. Because Trinity places such emphasis on technique in the first sessions, our beginning kickboxers advance at an amazing rate to the intermediate level.
Intermediate and Advanced Kickboxers
Intermediate or advanced kickboxers feel comfortable with their punches and kicks and are ready to learn more complex footwork, punches, kicks, and combinations. The cardio intensity will be raised to a new level pushing students to put forth their best effort and all their energy. The unique combination of kicks and punches works more than just legs and arms; it also strengthens the core and sharpens mental acuity as students remember and execute new techniques.
